I tried YWriter, really liked it, but fell for the promised greatness of Scrivener. Since I plunked down my money, I have heard the good, bad, and the ugly about Scrivener. I may go back to YWriter at some point, but I'm still in the early stages of outlining, so actually using index cards at the moment.
