I also like to write dialogue. You can tell a lot in a few words if done correctly. Write it as someone would speak it. Then go back and read it aloud, does it sound stilted? Forced? Rewrite until it sounds natural. People talk with their own rhythms, it is up to you as a writer to find each character's unique style.
