I would answer the questions as if the group was one person. True the group is many members, but by doing this you have answers that can be pointed to an individual such as whoever the leader of the group is, or the answers can be divided between high-ranking members.

The idea of NaNoPrep is to give something to ponder and put into action. It is a proporation? (dang what did auto correct do now?) and collection of questions and answers that help your imagination take flight so that you can create the best word art possible.

Creating a story is much like creating a picture using water or oil colors.

I believe there is no wrong answer as long as it is believable, is understandable, and relates to real-life according to the circumstances and the characters.
