October Novel Prep Challenge

I’m also a freelance copywriter. And earned an English degree. So I’ve prepped for a lot of very, very different writing projects. Nothing like NaNo though! This is a whole different beast! And I feel like, in some ways, I AM doing homework for school again. It’s a good analogy, I think.

I will say though that with those other projects, I learned that prepping made a big difference in the final outcome. I will not say that I never just ran with an idea and see where it took me. But prep work can really save some headache in the end, in my experience. So I’m really having fun with this!

You could take your ideas and free write with them as part of your prepping? Have a taste of both intentional prepping and seat-of-pants writing?
