Hi. I've been a member of Writing.com for a number of years but never participated (like this post, or replying to a topic on a forum) until today. I'm ashamed to admit that I found site navigation to be intimidating, but I actually spent some this evening on the Writing.com101 sections and proceeded in an orderly manner and now I'm getting the hang of it. It's quite nice, actually; I hope to become more active. My writing for the most part has been blogging on alcoholism and addiction recovery; my fiction is, I suppose, some kind of spiritual/light fantasy/speculative fiction thing. I bought Scrivener a year ago and that has helped me tremendously. Getting stuff out there and on the page helps me to learn about myself and also to cope with things. |
