Shaye Character descriptions are tricky things to write. The key thing is when you introduce a character is to mention one or two stand-out features e.g bushy eyebrows and a gruff voice, or rake-thin with sticking-out ears and just add other relevant details as the action progresses - if they're tall then show them ducking to go through a door, or if short show them straining to reach something high up etc. That way you can avoid stopping the story every time a new character appears. ![]() |
