A person on Facebook here in town posted a picture of Buckeyes - the nuts from the tree - and said they were edible chestnuts. He was selling them.

Ha! Well, there were a bunch of us that quickly told this person to check his information. You cannot eat buckeyes, or horse chestnuts. They are poisonous.
