This irregular contest will change each round. Nature poem? Horror story? Whatever. |
YAY! I'm so glad! Consider doing a...uh...I can't recall the word, but it lets people and the hospital know what you want done in various circumstances (when to put you on a ventilator or feed you through tubes and how long to keep trying to keep you alive, etc.), should you be hospitalized and unable to state your wishes. You can get a form from the hospital social worker. And decide and file if you want a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order as well. Nothing happens if you never need it. ![]() And while you're at it, discuss and decide about organ donation on top of it all. You can also donate your body to science. I recently discovered both the University of Southern California and the VA medical center have brain banks where they study brains, both healthy and not. The VA also takes civilian brains. I can get you phone numbers if you are interested in those options. I'm not one to donate my body to science, but I'll donate my brain. ![]() That's so awesome that your job offers legal services! What a great benefit! Definitely use them. ![]() Okay, hopefully you feel inspired and not overwhelmed, but either way, just take it 1 thing at a time and ask the professionals for guidance when you need it. ![]() ![]() And be sure to check out my challenge
and my contest
