October Novel Prep Challenge

If I had to wager a guess, I'd say it's something to do with the time the memories are formed- without going into too much technical detail, we remember things better when we're younger, so it makes sense that those memories formed when we were young, stick with us even when we can't remember what we had for our last meal.
