The site doesn't ask people why they delete things.
While the site has such notification systems for forum posts and In&Out submissions, which are optional rather than automatic and do not require giving a reason, my personal experience is that using them often leads to verbal abuse of the person who does the deletion.
If you haven't saved a copy of your writing before posting it, a notice of deletion after the fact wouldn't offer any opportunity to retrieve a copy.
If you really need to know that something is deleted, you could keep your own list of chapter links paired with their item links, and check it periodically.
