A fluid glide of acrylic paint
in shimmering colors
enfolds the canvas

Black and red charcoal fragments
on the newsprint
with art stubs dragging color into shadows and shades

Colored graphite;
subtle shades with paint thinner
on the snowy Strathmore textured paper

My fingers control each medium and form images in my mind's eye.
