I started again. Yesterday's story got to 2000 words but ti was too derivative, and so I abandoned it. However, one of the characters insisted he had a story to tell, and so I've taken him, stripped him of all his talent, and now thrown him into the deep end.

Do I call it 4200 words for the week? Not sure...
