Making subgenres for genres would require a whole lot of new coding, and given that there's really one person that does coding around here that kind of work would compound an already lengthy to-do list. As as seen in other posts, even changing the names of existing genres requires a good amount of consideration. Having subgenres under the many genres available? That's basically a fundamental redesign.

Out of curiosity, how often are you using the keywords field? I feel like that's going to be the best option right now for promoting Christian. (I also think keywords are largely underrated on the site, and I know NL editors will search by keywords instead of simply sticking to a specific genre when looking for pieces to highlight.)
