Form of the week: Haiku Sonnet

The Haiku Sonnet is a blending of Eastern and Western traditions devised by David Marshall. The structure consists of four stanzas written in the 5, 7, 5 syllable pattern followed by a couplet of 5 or 7 syllables, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
