This is what is already available for customizing how you get to the Community Newsfeed:

If you'd personally rather log-in and land on either the Community Newsfeed page or your Personal Newsfeed page (instead of the Hub page, which is the default landing page) you can easily make that change by going to

My Account/Account Settings,
scroll down to Site Display Options,
and change the drop menu setting for Logo Link To:.

This will also change the location assigned to the Writing.Com logo link at the top of the left navigation menu into a direct link to the page you choose in the drop menu.
