So, let’s get right down to business. I want to write my first novel. Not a short story, a poem or just dabbling, a fully fleshed out novel. I have ideas, but I want to structure my story so that I don’t get off track like I am prone to do when writing.
• What did you do to begin your writing process? Writing to just write doesn’t work for me, because I need to world build, character build everything.
• How did you start your draft? What tools helped you? Should I have an idea of what my characters will look like before writing? As far as world building, what helped you provide a fully fleshed out world?
• I have a huge problem with showing vs telling, how did you overcome that?
