What's the market? For some venues, it would be too soon. Others, if that's all that takes place in the first chapter, they'll pass. Usually writer's guidelines will specify how this sort of content is dealt with. Unless you want to write multiple versions of your story, follow your instincts, then search for a place where it would feel most at home.
