If your subfolders are titled so they identify their content to offer a choice to others, others can follow their preferences to find what they want, the same as you can.

Others can also find your writing with the site search listings, via links posted manually by yourself or others, with the port search feature in the left nav menu, and with your Biography tab listing, and get back to your items with Favorites, or their given reviews listing.

A more pertinent question might be how far others are willing to scroll inside a folder with many items.

If your folders have a lot of items, you can hand-build a TOC or index in your Folder body and use the Folder's Summary field to indicate in the port view, that such navigation helps are available. For example, in my port, click to expand the folder "Invalid Item" , and then find "Invalid Item"  and click to expand that to see the Folder Summary.
