Thanks for this review. Another Kristin Hannah, and another good book, I think. It sounds really interesting, but very sad, also. The only book I've ever read from this era is 'The Grapes Of Wrath', and I thought of that book as I read this review. As I said before, I've looked at a few of this author's books before. I must download one of them so I can get a feel for her writing.
