Hey Rach-
This is a retelling of The Fall of the House of Usher. I know you aren't into horror, but it's so much better than the original short story by Edgar Allan Poe, it makes me giddy! (There are competent women in this story (!) but the author manages to keep it true to the time period. Loving her!)
