Hey there Schnujo, thanks for your reply, I do think there shouldn't be an either/or when it comes to health care, it should cater for all levels of of where people are. A lot of people do envy our system once they've seen it work, however, it's not in good condition at the moment. Here's hoping for some improvement.. As for my sister, yes, she was abused as a child, we both were, and yes, you're right, there is much more going on with her, it's a very complex situation. Don't get me wrong, she has a heart of gold, and means we'll, but even the specialists can't help her, she won't let them, or maybe can't let them, it's very hard to know where the border between them lies. I have also been through some very dark times, but I had 2 children, and I think they helped me get through it, my sister has stayed alone (absolutely nothing wrong with that), but she's had very little else but herself to focus on. For her, that's been a bad thing. The ptsd came from an incident later on that probably finished off her mental health. She'd already had a motorbike accident, she seemed ok mentally after that, physically she wasn't. Then this incident a few years later tipped her over the edge, sadly... I was surprised at the DID diagnosis, as like you, I wasn't sure it was recognised anymore, unless the name change shows a change in criteria... Well, I've entered the Whatever Contest, I need to put that into the Contest Challenge. I looked at the July 2018 entry, no idea what I did. It could be that I just missed July when I read through what I had and hadn't done. I couldn't find my original list, so I went through the list on here and use that. I'm guessing I just misread it somewhere. I looked and found another one I did wrong, but this one wasn't one I'd repeated, so all is good... Take care, stay strong and always be the best version of yourself you can be, whatever that may be on any particular day. Angel |
