On controlling the portfolio

When I enter a new story in my portfolio it enters each as the number 1,000 in the portfolio which puts it at the bottom of the list, not at the top.

How do I reorder the list so the latest is shown at the top of the list?

Thank you, I designed computers for 30 years, but I always needed IT to fix computer problems. The physics of the computer is my interest, not the using of it. Essentially I learn what I have to to do what I need. I’m a troglodyte.
