Submission Date sorting was easy and has been added for you!

Another sort method I would like to see is the ability to sort or query DB to bring up all the information associated with a particular item

I think the sort box next to the sorting allows you to do this... It was not searching on the "Item ID" or "Notes" fields, but I've added those, so it will now search those as well. If that's not what you mean, please explain a little further why the search box isn't working for your needs on this.
