That is definitely a possibility, and it is one reason I had in the back of my head when I chose the "Secure the loft" choice a dozen chapters back. That said, it would be a permanent danger, so there's no need to spring it right away, and good reason not to -- some branches might want to be developed where a premature revelation isn't hanging over them.
