Yes, the link still works and people still get credit from either the referral link or their own portfolio. There is no way to “cheat” the system.

The old tell a friend system sent an email via the site servers. It was a spammer magnet. Folk can still “tell a friend” but they do it themselves by sharing a link rather than having our web server email the link for them. .
