My bad. I have no intention to join at all, but decided to at the very last minute and overlooked the deadline. Peer pressure.

I went through the stages. Denial. Self-talk. FOMO. Scrambling for info. Half-brain invested in previous outline, a pinkie toe in the Contest Round... Then half-thinking I've already missed it...

And bam... A poorly-edited piece submitted incorrectly.
