My husband sometimes looks at me as if I have two heads. But then, he is a very literal person. He is not artistic in the least. He has a hard time 'thinking outside the box' as it were.

As a writer, you will sometimes have to get into the 'head' of characters that are nothing like yourself and describe things in a totally different way.
