Re: Poetry Topic of the Month Contest, October 2022
Just a heads up, if you've ever dreamed about catching all the way up and being in the Giant January Celebration, I'm considering not running this anymore (at least for a while) after NEXT (not this) January. I might try to push to 10 years, but 2024 will be 7 years, so I might stop then. I don't know yet. We'll see how things pan out. But just so you know, life it getting a bit overwhelming sometimes (as evidenced by this forum being so very far behind *Blush*). Maybe you have no plans to catch up, but if you do, here's what I have missing for you...

2017: FEB-DEC
2018: JAN-JUN, AUG-DEC
2019: JAN-APR, JUN-DEC
2020: JAN, FEB, MAY-DEC

It would definitely be work to catch up, but I think you can do it. *Smile* Remember, the entries don't have to be amazing winners, just completed and preferably not completely trash. *Laugh* I have 1 person who looks like they might have started this year and possibly caught completely up, though I'm still sorting through things, so maybe not. But the main point is, it IS possible. I've had people do an entire year in a month. Mind you, not everyone can do that, but I definitely want to encourage you to try to catch up, if you can. I'd love to be able to celebrate you in 2024! *Delight*

According to my calculations, you'd need to do about 1 entry per week next year, plus the regular 12 as well, so 5 per month would catch you up with a little time to spare in the end. It wouldn't be easy, but you could do it. With the 12 entries next year, if you did 2 entries per week in January, then 1 per week after that, I think you'd finish just in time with perhaps a week to spare...so maybe do 2 entries per week in January AND February, just to be safe. *Wink* Anyway, no pressure to do it, but it is officially doable. *Bigsmile* And that's not including any catchup entries that you might have done in the last couple of months when I was slacking around, trying to survive life. *Pthb* *Laugh*

Whatever you decide, I'm still thrilled to have you involved here. Thank you! *Hug1**Smile**Hug2*
