I agree with Dave and Tegs.
First, welcome to WdC. Secondly, as an author of over thirty books, I can tell you that I prefer a blatant opinion, whether I agree with it or not. I don't write for others to "like" my writing. I write to share what I have with those who want to read that material. Therefore, here on WdC, I give honest and blatant reviews while not purposefully being unkind. I would always want to encourage others to write, but I will not encourage bad grammar and poor writing skills. I would rather they think I am hard on them than for them to think that poor writing was okay. We all can and need to improve in our writing, and lying to us is the worst way to learn we did something not okay or better.
