Thanks for your review, Phyllis. I have to say, these books sound like nothing I've ever read before. What a crazy idea for a series about a woman and her chickens. I love the idea of Saffron being able to see in different colours. I co-wrote a story about that very subject a few years ago. It was my partner's idea, and they had to educate me a lot. It was fascinating, though.
