Hmmm... that is a good question. They may vary a little depending on the shoe requirements but it's a usual non-slip type sole so the noise comes from the way the typical tile flooring and the material ensuring grip. Right that squeak wouldn't quite be the right description but it's also very hard to come up with the right word. Something almost rhythmic but will depend on the person's gait, walk or if they have an issue with a leg or foot.

I may think on this more.
