I was nine years old, and my cousin was 10, when our Grandma (Mom to both our Dads) died. My cousin was woken up and taken to pay her last respects to the body before cremation. I wasn't.

To this day, I wish I had been taken ... and she wishes she hasn't.

Same situation, opposite points of view!
