It was written by either imaj or Wordsmitty (sorry guys, I don't remember which of you it was), and I remember after it was published the author emailed me to admit that they had no idea what the conversation was about or who the visitor was. It was just one of those brainwaves that gets put into a story, in the hopes that there will be a payoff later.
