In some ways, its surprising how much of the content of TBoM is confined to the schools, and that it doesn't break out and have the protagonist replace parents, other family and so on. Doubly so since some of the characters themselves have MILF obsessions.

I've been doing some writing on another platform (since actively finishing off the Will 20ish years in the future requires a lot of double checking on what I've written before), and it has the facility to allow readers to vote on what happens next. So, much as Sydney derailled things here, at least she was acting in character, rather than someone voting for the dumbest thing possible to see what happens...
