Have you tried a sounding board? Sometimes explaining your ideas to a buddy helps you articulate them for yourself.

Also, what is your goal, as a writer? Do you write for fun? Do you have specific aspirations?

What happened with the previous projects? Did you get discouraged? Did the projects start to bore you? Did you just get too busy? Is it all just a mystery?
