October Novel Prep Challenge

Ideas of possible outcomes are just that; possibilities that can be changed or omitted as the writer gains more knowledge of plot and character. Having an idea about the ending allows for filling in the middle so it all lines up well. Going on vacation with no idea about where you're going is like winding up traveling forever. Or you don't even start the trip. If knowing it is a sad or happy ending, it is at least something to work with as the story ideas develop.
