"The Mother of Invention"  --> "A Wife Has Her Ways" 

This six-chapter line was written to fulfill a commission. There wasn't much guidance. I was asked to put Will in for someone's mother, and after some negotiation and discussion we settled on Mrs. Vredenburg.

I went along with it, mainly, because it gave me a chance to play with Blackwell some more. It's been a long time, because although I know what he wants in that area of the interactive, I've never been sure about how he's going about it. I'm still not sure, but after thinking about it a little, I saw how he could at least get himself in trouble in a way that could be interesting. Hence, the out-of-nowhere cliffhanger.
