I totally understand feeling burnt out. I still feel burnt out from the past couple of years, and I've found that slowing down a lot and just focusing on getting 50k by the end of the month has been a lot more helpful for me this year, especially after life's stresses. If sprinting was making you neglect the rest of your life, then it's definitely a good thing that you've set your sights on a different goal! Good luck with the rest of your story!
