Motivate yourself to conquer your goals this week! Post on Monday; update us on Friday! |
This week turned out to be much busier than I had anticipated. So many of these goals will be postponed to this next week that I have off from teaching. Reading Goals: - Continue reading my daily Chronological Bible Plan (almost done with the Gospels.) Success. This one is easy thanks to audiobooks. - Listen to/Read one chapter a night, Monday – Friday of The Return of the King (make progress.) If it's possible, I think I burned out on LOTR. - Read one chapter of Postmortem by Patricia Cornwell, Mon – Fri. I did partially complete this one. It was more like a listen when possible situation. Creative Goals (Non-Writing): - Do lesson two of the Drawing book I’m using. Going to postpone this one to next week. Creative Goals (Writing): - Write about the background of the people of Ghelatlishol. Look up a Wikipedia page on a country and see how many different categories are listed, use that as a basis. Going to postpone this one to next week. Health Goals: - Go for a walk for at least 30 minutes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Haha, no. But I am going camping today, so some exercise will be had. Social Media Goals: - Keep up with daily thankfulness posts. Mostly on track here, though I'm probably the only person who cares. Work Goals: - Review Choir performances with classes on Tuesday Successful. My students really seemed to benefit from it. - Select 3 songs per grade for Winter Programs (5th and 6th combined) Postponing this one until next week, though I did practice some with the students. Other Goals: - On Tuesday, go shopping for an airbed, and try it out in the tent. Sleep in there overnight to see if a weekend camping trip is doable. Was able to sleep in the tent with an airbed. And I have a hand pump so I should be good to go. - If doable, make a list of necessities and prepare them on Wednesday (and let brother-in-law know.) We went last night and got everything we need. - Make a Thanksgiving list (things to buy for breakfast and dinner) and plan a menu. Family is splitting responsibilities. I get to make the pie and bread rolls. Guess who the baker is in the family? Lol |
