I understand the issue, but from an order flow process, we want people to just complete the checkout. As 99.9% of our orders are for paid memberships, this order was a 1-in-a-1000 kind of thing... and even in that 1-in-1000 case, only a small percent will want to make change. As such, I really don't want to add a distractionary "go back" kind of link there for that 1 in 10,000 kind of instance like yours.
But do note for the future, as long as you're not on mobile, the left navigation to "View Cart" or "Checkout" will be the easiest way to get back to your cart. (If you're on mobile, you just have to open the left navigation and then it's there as well.)
