I'd say "privacy". With social media, everything they do has an audience, and every mundane little thought, picture, meal, event, moment, etc. is posted or streamed on social media where it can be seen by hundreds of people. When I was out with my friend group growing up, none of it ever ended up anywhere public. Even if we took a picture or wrote notes to each other, those were for US. No one else knew (or cared) what we were doing.
Now, there are always eyes on you, and any little mistake or embarrassing thing you do could haunt you, or worse, "cancel" you. I can't imagine growing up with that kind of pressure and without any sense of privacy. What does that do to your developing sense of self and personal identity?
