I haven't actually been to any AI sites to try them out or investigate them so, to some extent, anything I say about AI is based on what I've heard. But it's natural that I should be suspicious of it because it threatens my only reason for being. The world hardly needs my writing now; if AI takes even that away, what have I left?
I'll tell you where AI should stay. In the pages of sci-fi novels and stories, that's where. It's fertile ground for all sorts of ideas and dreams. In our back pockets or as our sidekicks, it's a no-no.
