Huh... I always assumed Cuthbert was in Colorado or the Sierra Nevada's of California myself. I either missed the part about mid-west, or assumed the mid-west covered many more states for some reason (IKIK). Maybe it's just personal bias... I'm close to Appalachia myself and don't view Cuthbert as fitting in there ( yes... we all know or have heard of that one or two families here, but they always seem more legend than real:). I guess it's a case of how one half of the country looks at the other half and draw the same wrong conclusion.lol
