Greets, Do you know what action you were taking on that tab? (Also, you should only have to login on one tab as the login tracking is by browser, not tab.) Interestingly, if you check your login history... https://www.writing.com/main/my_account/action/login_log ... A couple things: - First, there is no "logout" event. That is to say the site didn't log you out or clear your sessions. When there is a "login" with no logout, it means your computer actually removed your login session tracking. You're basically appearing on the site as "new person", rather than your logged in self. All sites, including Writing.Com, require that your browser keep a bit of data and send that to us to show you've been validated. It seems your browser is deciding that's not going to happen -- which leads me to the second thing: - Second, it seems to happen roughly every 4 weeks, with a few in between back in March. But aside from that, it's almost every 4 weeks. No logout from the site... just the login from your browser. Which leads me to think this is a local issue on your computer. Do you have any special security software that may be cleaning out cookies that keep you logged in? I see you're using Firefox. Have you tried Chrome? Are you willing to see if the problem resolves itself by using Chrome instead? https://www.Google.com/Chrome Outside of that... Hopefully we can get some reports from others and trying to figure out what the commonality is. Since I can’t duplicate this myself, it’s challenging to debug and I can only work with the data you provide and what we have in the logging and I've detailed my "detective work" based on that logging above.
