The one thing I didn't try... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That seems to have worked, thanks.

Oddly, it continues to say on payment and order pages that I have auto renew set up, except the page where you go to turn it on/off, where it tells me I can turn it on. So that's kind of puzzling.
