I joined WdC when I was 13 back in 2011. I was a pretty active member on the site until around 2015. Life happened, and I didn’t write for a really long time. Just recently rejoined the site and found inspiration to start writing again. Never too late to restart. But I also work a lot of hours now, so finding a balance is key. I’m still working on that part  For some reason, I feel like I just fit right back into the community. I was a troubled teen when I used this site before. It’s nice to see familiar faces and names that helped me through a lot, even if they may not be aware of it. I was wary about rejoining, but I was immediately welcomed with open arms. This site really is a caring community, which is hard to find online now. |
