How do YOU come up with your character names?

How do you come up with your character names?

Sometimes I watch the credits at the end of a movie. Other times I hear a name that catches my attention and I write it down. I also glance at the local obituaries once in a while, usually looking someone up. And I've also found some interesting names for characters while working on genealogy.

I was just curious how others come up with character name?
