Garden Glory Palettes of petals, dainty flutter of wings. Zinnias, foxgloves, honeybees. butterflies. Kaleidoscopes of color meet eager eyes. Hummingbird hovers and sweet chickadee sings. Wearisome planning March, April, and May establishes palettes for June and July. An outburst of beauty beneath the blue sky indulges my soul in the garden each day. Each winter is time to review what went wrong, and plan some improvements for next year's season. I take those tedious notes for a reason, to be rewarded with sweet beauty and song. |
