We never lose our voices! Our writing styles, use of vocabulary, how we sprinkle in local vernacular and flavors, how we let our age and experience influence our choices... these things are what our voices become over time. While they may change, more correctly said evolve... we never lose our voice.

What gets lost is our motivations. Do something that gets the juices flowing again. Raise your emotional state to a new height and soon enough you'll be wanting to tell us all about it!

Go for a walk down the back streets and alleys near you. Experience the rush of the six-foot-tall Doberman the next street over gives you when he pops up, leaning over the skimpy, half-rotted, 4-foot fence. I promise you will have plenty to write... soon after you finish changing from your brown pants.
