I watched The Legend of 5 Mile Cave a couple of days ago. A made-for-TV movie, I wouldn't have bothered but it sorta smelled like Secondhand Lions which, if you haven't seen, you should. And that's pretty much what it turned out to be - a simpler, kinder, and Michael Caineless movie much like Lions in its ethos. It's nothing to write home about and you probably won't remember it for long, but it's a pleasant experience when compared to most of the overhyped and pointless rubbish produced these days. Plus it's available on Freevee. |
